High School Memories
Stumbled on the latest Cinemalaya entries on the Tube. Kinilabutan ako. A lot of the scenes triggered cringe-worthy moments from high school, i.e. Sabayang Bigkas, JS Prom, CAT, ... then again, those memories are the best.
Is anybody coming out with a Masci film??? Hahaha.

did you see "Pisay"? It's about Pisay batch '86, batch of my hubby and Aureus (the director) is also his batchmate.
"MaSci" the movie? Gosh! Gives me goosebumps all over. All I can remember during those 4 years was that I was going to school just to see the boylet, hehehe.
Anyway, met John Viluan at Salzburg. Didn't recognize him kasi he's quite chubby. And the last time I saw him was like 15 years ago. Amazing noh?

Di ko napanuod Pisay e. Dapat nanuod last weekend kaso nagkasakit me. Talaga? Batchmate ni hubby mo si direk? Dapat tinanong mo kung meron dung character that was based on him.
Ano ginagawa ni John Viluan sa Salzburg? Permanent na ba sya dun?

Yup, batchmate ni husband si Aureus. Met Aureus at the Berlinale Film Festival and his entry was Maximo Oliveros. We purposely went to Berlin to see him kasi he was a friend of the hubby.
And walang character that was based on my husband kasi he didn't contribute. BUt one of the characters, friend ko, barkada talaga ni hubby at kalaro ko sa badminton. It was very emotional for their batch. Most of them, kilala ko na nga through my husband and they really cried. Perhaps, it's really touching when you see your life story projected on screen.
John was at Salzburg with his cousins. Nagt-tour sha. He's temporarily based in UK but he's flying home this October.
